One of my dear friends, is going through a financial crisis and is in deep need to pay off tuition, keep a place to stay and other essential needs.

Here's what she wrote:

""Forced to live on my own immediately, without warning, shortly after Christmas, I've found myself struggling nonstop. I didn't have a job when I moved into my first apartment, so I was forced to go to school in order to get the federal loans to support myself. When I did finally get a job, they were reluctant to give me enough hours. I finally had decided to move to the other side of town out of my apartment and into a new one with two roommates. When I got my new job, they did not bother to tell me that they don't issue out lunch breaks, regardless of how long you work. After I told my supervisor that I cannot physically stand for 8 hours straight due to chronic back problems, they cut my hours severely. I paid all my old bills from my previous apartment, and now I'm in the hole. I need $400 dollars before July 3rd, 2008 to prevent myself from being evicted."

Knowing her situation and her constant struggle trying to finish college, having a place to stay and getting food. I personally know how hard it is to pay off your tuition, work and go through college at the same time, hence I decided to host a a charity auction to aid her so she can have enough money to stay in her apartment at least for the next few months.
